To-Do List Widget

The To-Do List can be added to your Sidebar, Footer Widgets or in any row or column when using the Page Builder. You can place multiple To-Do List Widgets thoughout your Cadenza website in widgets areas or on multiple pages, displaying different Categories for different Users, depending on the configurations settings you make, as outlined below.

Add a To-Do List Widget as you would any other WordPress Widget. More detailed instructions for adding Widgets can be found here.

Configuring the To-Do List Widget in the Widget Screen

To set or edit the To-Do List Widget configurations in the widget area, do one of the following:

  1. From your Dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Widgets
  2. Expand the Widget Area where you have previously placed the To-Do List Widget
  3. Expand the Options by clicking the little down arrow located to the right of the To-Do List name
  4. Edit the configurations as outlined below

Configuring To-Do List Widget in the Page Builder

Since you can add a To-Do List Widget through the Page Builder with Widget Modules, to any page or post within your website, all configurations and settings are made directly on your page, in the Page Builder itself.

To set or edit the To-Do List Widget configuration within the Page Builder, do the following:

  1. Navigate to the page where you have added a To-Do List Widget, and edit the page through launch the Page Builder links
  2. Hover over and click on the Widget Module, or on the Widget Settings Icon (Wrench) where you have previously embedded a To-Do List Widget
  3. Edit the configurations as outlined below

Configure the To-Do List Widget

Once a To-Do List Widget has been added to a widget area or on a page or post through the Page Builder, you can customize the appearance of the To-Do List Widget and make alternate selections for what information will display. To reconfigure the To-Do List Widget, open it in the Page Builder.

  • Change the Heading from “To-Do List” to something else. Personalize it for yourself or your organization, or change it to something more fun or interesting!
  • Set the Number of Items to Display to 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 or All
  • Select which Category to display from the drop down Category list. You can select to show All Categories or any single category
  • Choose to Show who the Item is Assigned To
  • Choose to Show the Items’ Deadlines
  • Choose to Show the Items’ Progress
  • Choose if you want to Show only Logged-In User’s Items

Click the Save button when you are finished configuring your To-Do List Widget.
